Meet Beauty! She’s a 3 year old German Short Hair who loves to compete in DockDogs competitions!
Beauty recently competed at the GoPro Mountain Games in Vail and won 1st place in the “Big Air” event. We asked her some questions about the competition and what’s involved.
Could you tell us a little bit more about the event you won at GoPro Mountain Games?
I competed in a few competitions that weekend. The gold medal I got was in an event called “Big Air”. My mom sits me down at the end of a 40’ dock, shows me my toy and then I run full speed and jump into a pool as far as I can. My biggest jump that weekend was 24’3”. I did Big Air jumps about 4 times a day.
Were there any other events you competed in?
I also competed in another event called “Dueling Dogs”. It’s basically Drag racing for dogs. It was my 1st time trying it and I'm a little rusty but I plan to do better at my next event.
